Meet the team at Six Point Recruitment

Get to know the dedicated professionals behind Six Point Recruitment. Our team brings a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to connecting good people with good organisations.

Our Directors

Six Point Recruitment is led by Carl, Billie and Lisa, who bring together extensive experience across children’s services, regulated care, business ownership, fostering, supported accommodation, learning disability services, consultancy, quality assurance, compliance and safer recruitment.

Between them, they have worked as providers, employers, senior leaders, Registered Managers, consultants and quality assurance professionals. Their experience goes far beyond recruitment itself. Collectively, they are involved in businesses that own and operate children’s residential homes, semi-independent and supported accommodation services, specialist learning disability provision and a fostering agency, alongside consultancy services supporting regulated providers across the UK.

Carl Holness

Carl brings significant experience as a business owner and provider across children’s services. His wider portfolio includes children’s residential care, fostering, learning disability services and other specialist provision.

Having built, developed and operated regulated businesses, he understands first hand the pressures providers face around recruitment, retention, leadership, workforce stability and creating strong teams that can deliver safe, consistent care.

Billie-Jo Kelsey

Billie brings substantial operational and senior leadership experience within children’s residential care and regulated services.

Her background includes Registered Management, safeguarding, quality assurance, team development and operational oversight, giving her a strong understanding of what effective frontline staff, managers and senior leaders look like in practice and what is needed to build safe, stable and child focused services.

Lisa Rafferty

Lisa brings extensive experience in senior leadership, operations, business development and quality assurance.

Her career has spanned children’s residential services, young offender services, secure adult environments and custodial services, alongside service mobilisation, quality assurance, workforce development and regulatory improvement. She also supports providers with Regulation 44, Ofsted readiness and service improvement.

Together, Carl, Billie and Lisa bring a combination of commercial experience, operational knowledge and quality focused leadership. Because they are directly involved in children’s homes, supported and semi-independent services, learning disability provision, fostering and consultancy, they understand the realities of the sectors Six Point recruits into.

That means recruitment is never simply about filling a vacancy. It is about finding people who are safe, suitable, experienced and aligned with the values, culture and responsibilities of the organisation they are joining.

We don’t just understand recruitment. We understand the services and responsibilities behind every appointment.

How our team benefits you

Our directors bring first hand experience of running businesses, leading regulated services, quality assurance, safer recruitment, compliance and consultancy. This means we understand the pressures employers face, the importance of getting appointments right and the impact the wrong hire can have on a service.

For clients, we take time to understand the organisation, its culture, the role and the kind of person who will genuinely fit. We aim to become a trusted recruitment partner rather than simply a supplier of CVs.

For candidates, the relationship is equally personal. Leanne and the wider team take time to understand experience, ambitions, values and what someone really wants from their next role. Candidates are supported throughout the process with clear communication, honest feedback and guidance from first conversation through to placement.

"Connecting People, Creating Opportunity"

What unites the Six Point Recruitment team is a shared commitment to quality, integrity, safer recruitment and finding the right long term fit. We all believe recruitment should be personal, professional and relationship led. Our goal is not simply to fill vacancies, but to understand the organisation, the role and the person well enough to make introductions that genuinely work.

As a team, we are striving to give clients a recruitment partner they can trust; one that understands regulated services, the importance of compliance and safer recruitment, and the impact that strong people can have on quality, culture and outcomes.

For candidates, we want to create real opportunities, support career progression and make the recruitment process feel clear, respectful and honest. At the heart of everything we do is a shared aim: to connect good people with good organisations and build relationships that last.
